Fall Festival and Stockings for Soldiers

It was a long day yesterday, but oh what fun!  We spent the day doing chair massages at the "Fall Festival" on Main Street.  It would've been a perfect day except for the wind.  Our friends from Advocare were here too, and we gave out a lot of Spark samples...LOVE that stuff, don't know how I ever lived without it!  After the festival ended, I squeezed in a massage for a client, then headed over to Heiser's Bar for Stockings for Soldiers.  I am blown away every year by the work those girls (and guys!) do.  We donated gift certificates for the silent auction, then did chair massages for donations throughout the evening.  I am so proud of everyone who works so hard to make this happen.  And I'm extremely proud of our community for supporting it.  Whatever faults Baker may have, it really is an amazing place to live.

Who Needs a Massage Gift Certificate?

Sure massage is a great gift for a birthday or Christmas, but there are lots of reasons to give a gift certificate for massage that might not be so obvious.  For instance, how about a couple's massage for the new bride and groom, or the new moms and dads?  What about Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day?  How about a bridal party spa day for the bride-to-be, her attendants, and of course the mothers of the bride and groom?  A massage gift certificate is a great "thank you" gift.  It's also an awesome way to say I love you, or I'm thinking of you.
